Finalist at the 2021 Lauriers d'Or Gala

Last week the 38^th Gala des Lauriers d'Or was held, organized by La Chambre de commerce et d'industrie (CCI) de la MRC de Montcalm. This recognition event sought to highlight the excellence of the entrepreneurs who chose MRC de Montcalm to establish their business and carry on their activities.

Several companies in the territory had a chance to gain recognition in one of its various categories.

This return edition of Lauriers d’Or recognized eleven companies for outstanding achievement in their field, based on their past three years of operations. A jury deliberated to select the finalists and present an award to the winning company contending in each category. Each company or entrepreneur could nominate itself in two of the following categories:

• Agriculture, agricultural production and/or food processing;
• Operation, processing and production;
• Commerce and services;
• Professional services;
• New business;
• Young entrepreneur;
• Business succession;
• Innovation;
• Winning HR Practices;
• Sustainable development; and
• Outreach Beyond the Region.

Maisons usinées Côté shone in the “Winning HR Practices": and “Outreach Beyond the Region” categories. 

We were immensely honoured to be awarded the title of finalist in the “Winning HR Practices” category, for which we were presented with a trophy.

Workforce attraction and retention are important issues, and we have understood them.

For the years ahead, we wish to consolidate our achievements in the hope of always doing better. This depends on the conversation we maintain with our customers, our suppliers and, above all, our workforce, who help us day after day to achieve objectives and extend our outreach in our region.

We thank our wonderful team for showing confidence in us and leading us to excel.
